Day SKYS — Day Reporting
A structured, community-based day program during school hours for youth who need increased supervision, academic monitoring, routine-building, and accountability aligned to expectations.
- Youth ages 12–18 on juvenile probation
- Youth who benefit from consistent daily structure and adult supervision
- Youth needing academic support, organization coaching, and routine-building
- Daily check-in, attendance tracking, and structured schedule
- Academic support block with on-task coaching and documentation
- Life skills development, decision-making, and goal planning
- Structured recreation and team-building activities
- Daily reflection and progress documentation
Day SKYS regularly incorporates supervised, staff-led activities in the community. Depending on the day and individual needs, youth may participate in visits to places such as the YMCA, public libraries, outdoor spaces, and other community locations for structured recreation, academic support, and skill-building opportunities.
We provide transportation to and from the center within a 30-mile radius, coordinated during referral and intake.
Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Day SKYS operates out of a community-based setting at Church of the Holy Spirit in Bellevue. This location provides structured space for academic support, group activities, and supervised daily programming.

Schedules are individualized based on probation goals, school requirements, and each youth’s needs.
Arrival & check-in
Supervised arrival, attendance verification, brief emotional check-in, transportation notes, and review of daily expectations and goals.
Academic support I
Structured schoolwork time with organization support, on-task coaching, and coordination with academic expectations. Engagement and participation are documented.
Life skills development
Rotating lessons focused on communication, decision-making, emotional regulation, healthy routines, and job-readiness skills.
Academic support II
Continued academic work, credit recovery support, tutoring, reading, or supervised online coursework.
Lunch
Lunch provided during standard meal time. Staff reinforce respectful behavior, hygiene routines, and appropriate peer interaction.
Afternoon programming
Structured afternoon block that may include individual coaching, group sessions, physical activity, supervised community outings (YMCA, library, etc.), and applied life-skills practice.
Reflection & dismissal
Review of the day, reinforcement of positives, documentation of participation and concerns, and supervised dismissal with transportation coordination.
What supervising teams can expect
SKYS is designed to support increased supervision and goal alignment with clear documentation and communication.
- Intake with youth and caregiver (in-person or tele-services when needed)
- Written individualized daily schedule/service plan aligned to referral goals
- Crisis/safety planning developed and updated as needed
- Daily attendance and participation documentation
- Progress updates toward schedule and goals
- If progress stalls, we adjust the plan and document what changes are being made
If a youth leaves after arriving and cannot be located, we follow required notification procedures and document efforts. Details are coordinated with the assigned supervising officer at referral/intake.
Family Support Services
In-home and community-based support designed to strengthen family functioning, improve communication, and coach skills that reduce high-risk behaviors.
- Coach caregivers and youth in real-time communication strategies
- Model and practice coping skills and conflict reduction
- Support routines, boundaries, and consistent follow-through
- Connect families to community resources and supports
- Intake assessment within 7 days of accepting the referral
- Written service plan developed within 10 days of intake
- Ongoing coordination with probation toward agreed goals
- Services scheduled around family availability (day/evening/weekend)
Positive communication, supervision routines, coping strategies, conflict resolution, healthy boundaries, and connecting to supports that help the family maintain stability in the home/community.
